Born in New York, Rebecca Tex began singing on stage in local musical theatrical roles while learning to play the acoustic guitar on her own. A natural poet and story-teller, she began to experiment with songwriting and her live performing branched out into the club scene. Soon she became interested in recording engineering and attended Full Sail Recording School in Orlando, Florida. Soon after graduating, she relocated to the City Beautiful. She began to perform full-time over the next seven years and her solo-act earned her three consecutive Jammy Awards for Best Variety Single performer as well as several nominations in related categories. She released two successful albums locally and then suddenly left the Florida music scene to live for a time in New England at the tip of Cape Cod...

"Haunted Halo" signifies a definite rebirth for this talented singer and songwriter with 17 inspired tracks on two discs that explore themes of alienation, love, loss, madness, and the hope of redemption...
