But there's also a hefty dose of NY urban Laura-Nyro-type cobblestone/airshaft vibes, 'cause that's where she lives now (well, actually, New Jersey).
And there's something Canadian there too, although she's never spent more than 5 days there. But it's telling that during those 5 days, she first heard Shania Twain.
