Album Notes

Rebecca Walker Jones

"a passionate performer and songs with guts!"
Senior Pastor Jim Ellison PUMC

Her new album titled "Still Searching" was recorded in Marietta, GA with the help of producer J. David Leonard (past president of The Atlanta Songwriters Association and master engineer of India Arie's "Interested") and features ten tracks ranging from "Call Yourself A Christian? - a tongue-in-cheek reggae based song to the powerful "Let Us Pray" - an anthem to the Lord's Prayer. Her Christmas song "Emmanuel" tells the good news in a fresh way while "Messenger" brings the album to a worshipful close.

"I hope you hear these songs and that they start many conversations - conversations with yourself, conversations with your children and spouse and most importantly conversations with your Creator."

REVIEWS

No doubt where Rebecca is coming from!
author: Peter Aston
In her lyrics Rebecca sings the sort of thoughts that many of us might think - "What if God were here in this very room?", "Call yourself a Christian?". Lovely fresh interpretaion of the Lord's Prayer in "Let us Pray" and a wonderful retelling of the Nativity in "Emmanuel". All truly inspired stuff! Well done!

I just bought this CD last night and I have listened to it dozens of times. I love every song. There are songs that make you think and there are songs that make you dance around the house. She has incedible talent and her songs make me want to be a better Christian!

Rebecca has a song for every taste

Rebecca's CD "Still Searching" is just what I have been searching for. Her songs are so eclectic that there is something for everyone. As I was watching her concert at Providence UMC, I wrote my check out in the dark and sent my kids over to purchase her CD. I thought they would all be gone by the time she finished. Do yourself a favor and buy one now. I have found that I need at least 3 though. One for the house, one for the car, and one for work. Surround yourself with this music and I promise you will be blessed and you will bless others in return. You can just feel the holy spirit in your heart when you sing these songs. What a blessing in deed!

My whole family LOVES it!
author: Jim
Wow, what an awesome CD. I find the tunes going through my head all the time. Even our 2 year old requests his favorites-'father,' 'children,' and of course his all time favorite 'Jesus.' We can't wait to start hearing Rebecca on the radio! This CD is truly God inspired.
