Album Notes

Take a walk through Speaker City, the new album from Rebl Music. The intro/title track brings you to a place where buildings are made of speakers, benches of bass tubes and tweeters are in the street lamps. A place where music and the arts are the main focus. Parks filled with record shelves, people painting in the public with no repercussions. The next tracks take you from Speaker City to Chicago, where they call home, and walks you through the city lights passed street vendors and local landmarks. With a stop off at a Speaker City bar, Rokko, Taurus Wrecks and bLuDsHot get the whole town saying "Let's Get Drunk". From there they discuss the battles going on overseas and in our own neighborhoods. The middle of the album takes you from an in-depth story of a homeless Chicago street performer, to Mars and back down into the lives of two people who question life. Rebl Music transforms a city into speakers and then themselves into "Turntables" and then round out the album with a classic Rebl style reggae inspired track. Get on the train, take a ride through Speaker City.
