Album Notes

Don't let the Lounge fool you - The Recliners can rock out with the best upbeat dance grooves this side of
St. Louis.
The Recliners, hailing from Austin, TX and now also based in Richmond, VA take the traditional "lounge sound" and zoom-off into galaxies never explored by Sinatra, Jones, or even Humperdinck. In over 15
plus years of existence, The Recliners have entertained them all: young and old, tuxedo-ed or tongue-pierced, in taffeta or tattooed, debutantes and dirt-bikers.
A Recliner's Recipe:
Take traditional standards from the 20's to the 60's,
add in newer songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's,
swing them across the dance floor, then mix in a generous shot of sultry bossa nova and cha-cha rhythms, blend until smoother than a James Bond come-on line, add tasty original songs (shaken...not stirred) and you're in martini heaven, baby.

Very glad to find this album on cdbaby.

The only place I could find this album was on Amazon and ebay for outrageous prices. I was seriously thinking about buying the CD for an absurd price ($40 to 50) because I couldn't find anyone selling just the mp3's. Then, I decided to do one more Google search and I found this album on cdbaby for $16! I don't know when this album became available on cdbaby, but I'm glad it did. As far as I know, this is the only place to get it. Thanks cdbaby!
