CD IN STOCK. ORDER NOW. Will ship immediately.
This long anticipated debut from Minneapolis' finest was worth the wait. Textured guitars that roll over you like your favorite quilt coupled with vocals and harmonies that haven't been heard in a very long time. It looks like our little secret is out.

notes
It's no longer quiet on the midwestern front. From the home of such regional noteworthies as The Replacements, Husker DU, and Soul Asylum comes a new chapter in Minnesota music. Red Dot Garage is a straight forward power pop rock band with the occasional alt-country or funk curveball thrown in to keep the hitter off balance. Two guitars, bass, and drums are still relevant as their new disc proves. Mixing elements from the aforementioned bands along with a healthy dose of harmony vocals (remember those?) they capture an edgy chic with a classic vibe. No samples or lip-synching required. If you like your guitars to not only sing like a chorus but also occasionally squeal like a dog in heat, this may well be up your proverbial alley. The rhythm section is spot-on, the grooves big and infectious, and the lyrics both provocative and familiar enough to bring you back for more. Enough said. Give a listen and decide for yourself. Test drives from THIS garage are greatly encouraged. Don't be afraid to give it a little push....

author: Sarah AGreat CD, I listen to it a lot, everyone should own a copy. I have seen them live, and it's a cool show (we almost drank as much as them). Hope they will release a follow-up soon. More Guitars! I love the lead work, and the harmonies are amazing.
LOVE IT!
author: TW,TW, DCAfter seeing members of this band live for years, it is fantastic to have a cd to listen to in the car.
Newest, biggest fan!! (I like adjectives).
author: Mr. MKeep on rockin'! That metaphor sums up this CD. This group understands that people like to tap their foot, hum, and occasionally dance while listening to music. Should I say more? I will!! If you think their CD is "groovy," check out their live gig. I play in a band and everyone of us aspire to be 1/100 "cool" as Red Dot Garage. Thanks Red Dot!!!
Worth a shot
author: M.WhiteInteresting. I like the diversity. It sounds like a group of players who know each other. Each song flows like a group that knows how to play. I would like to hear the next effort though. It does seem to be the brink of studio work... maybe they are killer live?!!! Buy it, it's worth it. - M.W.

author: Lange's DistributingRarely do you find music that takes you to a place where you find yourself honestly ejoying yourself again. This is where we were listening to this new release from a band that according to reports have been in the Twin City metro for some time. The sound is fresh, but the music feels familiar like an old pair of favorite jeans. This is a band that hopefully will be producing more of the same in years to come. We will be looking forward to it!
