Album Notes

Red Flag made the top 10 Billboard charts in 1988 with their memorable song Russian Radio. The next year Red Flag's debut album, Naive Art, released by Enigma, earned them another top 10 single, If I Ever. Red Flag's music became a favorite in dance clubs around the world. MTV put Red Flag's video, Russian Radio, in heavy rotation later that year. Touring extensively, Red Flag played with acts Devo, Thomas Dolby, and Book of Love. They appeared on the TV show American bandstand where they performed Russian Radio.

Since then, Red Flag released 11 albums, 14 CD singles, two box sets and appeared on numerous compilations. Their music has been featured on MTV reality shows. The band has played concerts around the world in the U.S., Europe, Canada, Mexico, and Peru. The music of Red Flag has evolved from New Wave Dance synthpop to darker and highly textured industrial melodies. Their work has inspired countless bands and garnered fans around the globe.

The untimely death of Mark Reynolds in 2003, brought to a halt the creative output of Red Flag. In time, Chris Reynolds has has opted to carry on the banner of Red Flag. Chris, acting alone, is the composer, arranger, singer, and producer of Red Flag's yet to be named new album. "Given good exposure, this album will take the world by storm when I release it." he said. "The time was right for me to write again. I kept coming up with these vivid melodies and great ideas for new songs kept coming to me. I'd find myself waking up in the middle of the night to compose elements of the songs before I forgot them. I'm almost finished with all the tracks and it rocks!"

Red Flag's album is expected to release by summer.

Simply awesome!

This album leaves me breathless. It is just AWESOME! The music is very beautiful and inspiring. I just love the song "Take care love". I can just listen to that song over and over again. The lead vocals are so beautiful and the music very enigmatic and inspiring, one of Red Flag's best compositions. This is an album to have if you are a Red Flag fan.

Solid works from Reynolds brothers..........

"The Eagle and Child" album consists of some GREAT "catchy" tracks such as: "Time", "In My Arms Again", "The Game", "Deeper Shade of Blue", and "Illumination." Those are my favorite tracks in this album. The mood of the album itselves is more on the "light"-kind of synthpop. Definitely far from the darker "The Crypt" or "Fear of A Red Planet" album. So, for those who enjoy a happy & light synthpop, this album is definitely for you. Peace !!
