Album Notes

Rick Redington has come up with another offering which leans this time towards the four piece rock n' roll configuration. The title cut from "Mother Earth" was released in 2005 on a compilation disc for "Clear Path International" (a landmine victim and awareness organization) along with other great acts like Natalie Merchant, Widespread Panic, String Cheese Incident as well as Jorma Kaukonen...to name a few. Ricks last two discs featured tracks recorded with Hall Of Famer Kaukonen as well as one with fellow sidekick Jack Casady.

Mother Earth is a more rockin' album than the past few acoustic based projects. Its title track suggests just a hint of what the bands energy is like in a live situation.
Redingtons songs are supported once again by bandmates Jeff Poremski on Guitar, Chris Johnson on Bass, Jared Johnson on drums and Chuck Miller on Keys as well as a few well selected session players. The album was mixed, mastered, and co-produced by recent Berklee Graduate Cooper Anderson and boasts a strong clear mix.

From the kickin' version on "Under a New Sun" to the more solemn and deep sounds of "Blink Of An Eye" ...."Mother Earth" is sure to please all who give it a chance.
