Album Notes

Formed on a dare in late 2005, the Pedestrians are one of the few klezmer-influenced bands in Michigan, let alone their hometown of Kalamazoo. They're the local band that gets it done. Mostly original songs, mostly original hairstyles. Their hobbies include riffing on F minor, wandering, and European history. They are only 1/10 Jewish, but it's not a bad start.

"A Lesson In Cartography" expores many sides of The Pedestrians. From traditional Klezmer tunes to Hot Jazz to unclassifiable original songs and sounds, the CD is a joy ride and free fall through the warped minds of these 5 souls.
