ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
ADRIFT, the band’s fourth CD and second full-length, features 11 originals tunes by all four songwriters in the band (And one traditional Greek piece) with lead vocal turns by all six members. Song styles range from barn-burning Eastern-European jams to moody, atmospheric creepers, with a touch of psychedelia and experimentation.

The new album shows the band really coming into it’s own, getting comfortable with it’s original sound; Harmonizing clarinet and violin, backed by masterful percussion, six strong singers, and a rotating cast of stringed instruments. ADRIFT shows a band embracing experimental production and willing to take a lot of chances, all the
while keeping one foot in the traditional sound that is the group’s home base.
