Refreshingly unique blend of blues and rock guitar; gutsy vocals
author: Jim Tremblay
A great third effort by this refreshing, new face on the blues guitar scene. While his lyricism on this CD evokes a lot of introspection, Nobby's gutsy vocals and seemingly effortless guitar work keep your feet tapping and your soul yearning for more. This is a stellar effort, both in writing and performance, by an axeman whose time has come!

Nobbys best yet!!!
author: (steve)two Guys Music Ri
Nobbys new cd is great. He's found just the right balance and his guitar tone sounds better than ever. From the funky rockin' Heavy Heart and Fill Me Up to the longer slow blues workouts Why and Cure for the Blues Nobbys guitar is spot on and fits the tunes like a tailored suit. The songs just flow like a raging river driven by Nobbys tasty soloing.... Sweet one minute stinging the next. He's no S.R.V. wannabe he's got a style all his own. The cd also has 3 killer instrumentals chuck full of his tasty playing to add to the mix. One things for sure there is no shortage of guitar work on this cd. We sold out of or first shipment in 2 days. We sell a lot of indie blues releases and this one definitly deserves to be heard forget the boring new Clapton give Nobby a chance you'll be in for a big surprise. Well gotta go call Nobby and get some more copys of C.F.T.B. before there all gone. Trust me this cd won't disapoint any blues guitar fans....it will make them !!
