Album Notes

Out of the 4 cd's I've recorded, this was the most enjoyable to make, and the freshest to listen to! I really feel that I' m understanding the process of putting together a record that's diverse and flows all the way through, and still sounds like me, it pushes the envelope a bit, but to me it's still blues. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did, when I put it together, please pick up a copy, and with your support , I can continue on my musical journey. Nobby Reed

Refreshing, new and invigorating!
author: James Tremblay
The Nobby Reed Project has done it again, and in a fun and invigorating way! Blistering blues guitar, with a jazzy bent, are complimented by Reed's soulful vocal talent. This one also adds a B3 and a harp to the mix, rounding out the perfomance on this well recorded and masterfully performed CD. A must for all blues fans, young and old!

Nobbys back with another winner
author: Steve (Two Guys Music)
After the exellent "Cure For The Blues" CD 2000 Nobby returns with another winner. Every Mile picks right up where C.F.T.B. left off. Full of great tunes that showcase Nobbys tasty guitarwork. Nobby has a less distored more natural tone the the SRV tube screamer brigade. Poor Man's Blues & Condition Blue are two killer songs more on the rocky side. Poor Mans Blues featuring some nice harmonica as well as a few of the other songs. Joyful Noise is on of those slow blues tunes with some nice soloing in it. The CD also features 5 instrumental cuts that showcase Nobbys sweet guitar playing. All in all a very tasty and CD full of variety I'd recommend to all blues and blues rock guitar fans.

I must say that "Every Mile" is a winner through and through! Nobby Reed and his band really crank it up on this one. Having wrote the lyrics to "Poor Man's Blues" and Nobby putting music to it is a HUGE honor for me. So check it out...it ROCKS!!!
