Recently I've recorded a couple of live cd's one with minimal DI miking ,and another with just 2 mics direct to disk,(only available on my site www.nobbyreed.com.and Nadeaumusic.net)This time around I went DI to 12 tracks, and over dubbed some second guitar(featuring the Zeeta amp by Maven Peal),cause I felt I wanted this to really sound good, for multiple listens, and to be a snapshot of our progress. And the other reason I recorded this live, is I'm always about the performance,(not nescessarily sound quality-but this quality out does the others)and most of all, we've have recently added a new bassman(Ray Bushey, who takes Tim Comings place,he and I go way back the the 70's with our local VT band-Greafe)who's really brought out the best in NRP, we are now performing more confident then ever, and he has breathed new life into songs such as At The Bottom, The Rev,and Good times, and I'm Crying Too!(which is one of my favorite songs to perform)Needless to say this recording is very representative of where NRP is ,and where NRP is heading. So saying that I decided to make it available here at cdbaby.

Nobby Reed: An exceptional vocal and guitar talent.
author: Robert (Wales)
Nobby Reed wears his heart on his sleeve in the way that he plays and sings the blues. This CD showcases Nobby's considerable musical abilities in terms of his songwriting, singing and guitar playing. I am sure that the NRP shall one day get the wider recognition that they richly deserve.
Do yourself a favour and listen a few times to the above soundclips , you will become hooked.
