This C.D. is a collection of Louisiana themed songs.
" Operation Gumbo Drop", was written from my trips made to Ground Zero after Sept. 11th, with a group called " The Gumbo Krewe". We cooked cajun food for all the firefighters, police, and rescue workers there.
" You Don't Even Know Me" was another song that came from a trip with "The Gumbo Krewe", we cooked and served the Marines at Camp LeJune, N.C., as they returned home from Afghanistan.
" What They Doin 'Round Here", reflects the frustration of seeing our swamps & marshlands in Louisiana , being destroyed by coastal erosion, and land development.
" Katrina", tells the story of Katrina the way I saw it.
These are some of the songs on the C.D..

I llive in baton Rouge La. I am desperatly looking for this CD by this coming friday for my husbands birthday.
