Lance Reegan-Diehl (LRD) is singer/songwriter/musician with seven studio albums to his credit; the most recent Internal Construction, is a testament to his talent and penchant for creating magic in the studio and transferring it to the listener via the digital and analog methods. LRD is the epitome of the indie artist with the necessary fortitude and drive to succeed in the competitive music market. He is the consummate musician and producer.
Lance’s inspiration entails more than music, he comes from a spiritual place and believes in transferring his enlightenment through music and words. Internal Construction serves that purpose very well. Currently Lance is writing, engineering, and producing other artist's and working on his new productions at all times. He never stops the creative process, thus allow continually development to take hold and blossom for him and others that are fortunate enough to be part of that process. Lance continues to study and explore every type of music and recording technique in an effort to improve upon his efforts and move his understanding and interpretations to another level.
Lance incorporates an original unification of styles and ideas to create an individual sound found in his music, sessions, and TV/movie spots. When not hard at work in studio, he has toured in numerous bands ranging from rock, pop, and jazz globally. He has been a front man, sideman, and an opening act for international stars such as Ricky Martin, Buddy Miles, Jim Byrnes, and Mr Big.
In addition to being the ultimate musical multi-tasking magician in the studio and onstage, he passes on his gift as a music teacher and lecturer at various middle schools, high schools, and Universities. Lance works from a place that has a strong foothold and understanding of the written note and how the listener perceives it. His lecture topics include dealing with the music business, getting along with people in very close quarters, and ultimately understanding the language of the musician. The basis for his knowledge of music, comes from earlier an education he gained in the Capilano College Jazz music program in Vancouver B.C.
Lance is now located in Asia where he spends his time playing concerts, presenting guitar clinics, teaching, and studio sessions.

Innovative, Energetic, Inspiring, True Guitar hero work!!
author: Peter Krasulski
An unbelievable CD. LRD's talent is only exceeded by the emotion he uses to write his music. Lance's coverage of several styles, classical, rock, jazz, blues, and country, is superb and serves as proof that he's mastered the instrument; thus, cementing him a place in guitar history with such peers as Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray vaughn, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. One of the best reasons I bought the album was I was able to deal with him directly. It's uncommon to meet such an easy going person of such great talent. Thanks for the music Lance. I'll be looking you up for some more CD's. Peace, Ski

Reegan-Diehl swallows the world in a tequilla shot
author: Timothy Watson
Artists have the rare distinction of having the greatest following in the world. While Solomon boasted 600 wives and 300 concubines, artists seduce the world with their magic and have more lovers than any abacas could hope to reckon. Most of us come to know artists through their work and then come to love them. In my case, I came to know Lance Reegan-Diehl the man first and then came to know and love his work. It is a rare privilege to have a telescope into an artist's cosmos, to know his soul and habits intimately, to understand his vision, and to gaze with him beyond the horizon at the tomorrow he has already envisioned in his mind. Having worked with the man personally, I have an inside track on his creative genius. He is a mystic, a shaman and an inspirational genius, who can put a CD together in a day like the pieces of a puzzle. He's telepathic, psychic and great-souled, so he feels the mood, the qi, and the psyche of the artist he is working with. He also feels his audience and plays to the audience. He can read the mood, the energy and the mind of the audience and plays to it accordingly. If they want rock, he rocks. If they want soul, he souls. I know cause I've pounded back enough whiskeys at Woodstock, his regular venue, to sink a battleship.
Lance's "Freak" is his most avante-garde work to date. A mixture of styles and genres, it resonates with the century that spawned it. "Symphony 1" resonates with the Stravinsky-like strains right out of the "Rites of Spring" that ushered in the vernal proliferation of 20th century music. "Symphony 2" is a guitar fantasy and is grounded much more in the composer's roots.
As for the "Stand", a grunge rock ballad not unlike some of Pearl Jam's more pearl-like jams, Reegan-Diehl haunting voice carries us through his life in what can be none other than a sorry tale about love come and gone.
There are other tracks on the album like the cover dedication to Clapton with a Santana-inspired intro that give us some idea of the range of this artist, who like a saprano who can span a range of four octaves, can capture the musical repetoire of four centuries in a blink. The world may discover this Mozart soon enough, but I feel privileged to know him for who he is now.

Nothing Short of Genius
author: Nic Alexis
This CD is a mixture of Great Rock-n-Roll, Blues, Screaming Guitars, Classical Guitars, Latin Fusion, and Native American Flutes in the mix. The track STAND is performed with heartfelt emotion, and beautiful guitar playing. WRAPPED is a song I really enjoy with a Blues/Latin style feel. All the songs are performed very well, and the CD is one you will enjoy.
