Album Notes

We hail from Minneapolis, Minnesota and we have been around for about five years making music. This CD, listen, is comprised of the twelve best songs that we wrote during that five year period. We had our share of obsticles making the record. We went through bassists like Spinal Tap went through drummers, brian moved to Colorado two years ago and we wrote half the songs by sending tapes back and forth to each other, not to mention the fact that we only had one microphone and a computer to record the entire album in our basement. But after six months of hard work, unique recording techniques and lots of learning, the album turned out great.

Our first demo received good reviews. "...this is my top pick of this issue. Modern fuzz-pop, competent home recording. The mix is generally tight, with the exception of a little too much 100 hz, but it does sound good in a car...The vocals are clearer than most DIY efforts in this genre, too. Good job, boys," DEMORAMA, March 2000. And hopefully the second will do the same.

In our first two weeks after releasing the record it has sold close to a hundred copies (a few were our friends and family out of sympathy, but hey we'll take it!) and our first two shows after the release we had a 100 to 150 people out and see us play.

In the next year and a half we will playing shows in support of listen in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and we will be trying to get our music heard because we truly believe that it is worth a listen.
