Refuge –noun
1. shelter or protection from danger, trouble, etc.: to take refuge from a storm.
2. a place of shelter, protection, or safety.
3. anything to which one has recourse for aid, relief, or escape.

These definitions barely define what the Lord has been to us. He chose us to be used by him to reach those who try to find refuge in what the world has to offer. Jovan Ramos, Tai Pierce, and Christopher Ruiz are simple, ordinary young men with an extraordinary calling. We are Refuge. Our objective: To see that the gospel of Jesus Christ positively and understandably reaches the ears of everyone. Our tools: A microphone, a pen, pad, and our Father's Living Word. We do not do this for fame or fortune. Instead, we count it an honor to be a part of something that can be used to save a life or two. We started in 2004 with our first album, "Refuge: the EP". Again in 2007, "Refuge Presents: First Aid" was released as a mixtape. In 2009, the Lord allowed us to finally complete our third project, "Off Broadway". We all worship at Manhattan Grace Tabernacle in Spanish Harlem (www.manhattangrace.org), and if you do not have a church to worship at, we invite you with open arms .
