Regan Jordan, an unforgettable name, an unforgettable talent... Jordan was born in Barre, Vermont. At the young age of 7, Jordan began her music and acting career performing in talent shows and competitions until she was old enough to accept major roles in musicals. At age 13, Jordan took First Place in the Vermont Youth Talent Competition and later developed a statewide reputation as "the young woman with a powerful voice and wide vocal range." At age 15, Jordan launched her New England musical tour after winning First Place in the New England Gospel Competition. This was the beginning of her career as a songwriter. Jordan later became Ms. Teen Vermont and her many statewide appearances planted the seeds of her vision to share her musical talents with everyone as both a singer and songwriter.
Jordan then moved to the Sunshine State to attend the University of Florida. She sang for major sporting events and became known as the "National Anthem Angel". She eventually followed her path to Southern California where she began perfecting her craft while playing in contemporary bands. It is quite possible you may have seen this young lady at many major summer fests throughout California. No stranger to giving of herself and time, Jordan performed at many benefit concerts to benefit Aids, Cancer Research and the Plight of the Homeless.
In July 2000, Jordan moved to the Music City of Nashville where she has replanted the seeds of her sparkling career. She has just completed her CD entitled, Float Away. The album is a compilation of songs that paint a picture for the listener, demonstrating her unique contemporary folk style. Her songs invoke a sense of calming and spiritual freedom that she displays in angelic art form.
Jordan can be found singing at the Bluebird Café, the Broken Spoke, 12th & Porter, Tootsies Famous Orchid Lounge. She has continued her spirit of giving and performs for a variety of benefits in town.
Jordan has an unforgettable voice, which she delivers with style and confidence. Her lyrics are uplifting and her message is clear . . . Her philosophy statement can be best described as: "It's not what's on the outside, there's a spirit there that must fly. There's people to meet and things to do, this world connects, and it's calling you (in Heaven there's no millionaire)."
