A CD patterned after the syndicated weekly radio Show that has the same name. Reggie Rogers (G-Rhymez) is the host as well as the founder of G-Visions Inc.(501c non-profit organization) The purpose of the organization is to share the good news of Christ Jesus with todays Hip-Hop culture.
Power Jamz the Wake Up Show can be heard on KERI AM 1180 3:00-4:00pm Bakersfield Ca, and KGEO AM 1230 Bakersfield CA Sunday mornings 7:00-8:00am, and on the web @ Power Jamz.org.
Reggie is the Youth Pastor at The Congregational Church of Shafter California. As a boy in the 70’s, I grew up on Motown; as a pre-teen and a teenager, I used to listen to a radio station called KTKR out of Shafter/Bakersfield while learning to break-dance in my garage. Today, music is still a large part of me; I put on music not just so I can listen to it, I put on music that I can feel…
After becoming a Christian I soon change all things I used to do, and the music never sounded any better… and as I share my experience and testimony, having an alternative suggestion that has the beat and sound of today’s radio played music is one of the ways I reach out to the younger ones in my family…
I bought two CD’s for my self and a friend because Reggie is a good friend and I would support anything he is involved in on his word… but after listening to this CD I put in an order for two more for Christmas gifts.
