About Regina Skeeters
With her soaring voice, boundless energy, and unmovable faith, South Carolina native Regina Renee Skeeters is one of the most innovative, risk-taking artists today. Regina's life has been dedicated to the anointed delivery of gospel music since childhood. She was born and raised in Conway, SC, by her mother, Mrs. Jean Blain Skeeters and her father, the late Eugene Skeeters. She began to develop her gift of song at an early age while singing at Bethlehem Baptist Church and with various groups well into her high school years. Upon entering college, Regina continued to blossom and blaze new trails with her golden voice and undeniable writing ability. During her tenure at Benedict College, Regina served as a very instrumental member of the Concert Choir and the award winning Benedict College Gospel Choir. Regina was voted top alto vocalist at the National Collegiate Gospel Competition, where the gospel choir was number one for three consecutive years. The well-renowned Benedict College Gospel Choir recorded their debut album in 2000, which featured the smash hit, "Put All My Trust" written and lead by Ms.Skeeters. The song was voted the Most Requested Song of 2001 on a nationally recognized inspirational station - Gospel 95.3 in Columbia, South Carolina. Regina also co-wrote "Will You Be Ready" on Hymns of Preparation with national recording artist Terrance Young. In October 2004 Regina released her debut album entitled "Breathe on Me". Regina recently assisted the praise and worship department of Perfecting Faith Ministries, where Dr. Warren Robinson is the pastor. She has served as the Minister of Music at Universal Outreach Ministries C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Dr. Alonzo Johnson. Regina is a committed member of Life Center Ministries of Columbia, where she serves as the praise and worship leader, under Bishop Brian D. Moore and Pastors Nate' & Tarsha Jefferson. Miss Skeeters has shared the stage with numerous well-renowned recording artists such as: Beverly Crawford, The Gatlin Brothers, Jonathan Nelson, BeBe Winans, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Tonex, J.Moss, Ricky Dillard, the late Olanda Draper, Donald Lawrence and many more. Regina's ultimate endeavor and calling is to establish her music ministry nationally and internationally. Through her delivery of soul-stirring song, God has allowed Regina to travel across the country, including Europe, relaying the message of strength and hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For Regina, music is the window to the soul. When you hear Regina's songs floating through the window of your soul, you will be enlightened, uplifted and inspired.
