These are some of the words from the new song “Holding On” sung by Jill Swallow, Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi. The song ‘Holding On’ is a very special to all of us at this point in our history,” said Swallow. “It’s been a difficult time for us. But expressing ourselves in song is a way for us to bring down God’s healing grace, and it has always been an integral part of our prayer life. We are blessed to be able to share our music with others and hopefully enhance their prayer life too.”
"When life gets hard, we immediately want to find something or someone secure to hold onto. That something or someone is hard to find in the dark. But it is there, in the midst of our darkness, that Christ, our Rock, comes to meet us. He wants to be our greatest security, the One we turn to for help in the storms of life. When the cross is hard to bear, we can hold on to Him who embraced it for us and find strength to say “yes” again and again and again."
