Biography of Michael Reich, Singer/Songwriter

Singer/songwriter-guitarist, Michael Reich has been writing and performing original music for the past two decades, evoking memories of artists armed with an acoustic guitar and a spirited message. Inspired by some of the music industry's greatest icons, Reich's musical direction remains modern and fresh as he crafts an original brand of pop, folk and rock. Built around strong vocals and memorable melodies, he also has been successful on stage, being referred to as a powerful performer.

Michael has written songs dealing with many subjects including the environment and political issues, conveying an inspiration for a better world and a passion for his art. Reich has been a member of ASCAP since 1989 and has received accolades from their popular awards panel, as well as receiving awards from songwriting contests. He also has been graced with favorable reviews from the media.

Michael is a native of Somerset County (Southwestern PA) and has traveled extensively playing at numerous venues across the tri-state area. Being a published songwriter, his music receives airplay on radio and Internet stations in various places all over the world. He also has been the featured artist in music publications and online music providers. In December 2003 his most recent release "Who's Minding The Store" was ranked in the top ten for the year by Pennsylvania Musician Magazine and Q94 radio in Altoona!

Michael has released three albums thus far over his career.
"Pushing Hard To The Shore" 1989, "Before I Let It Go" 2000 and "Who's Minding The Store" 2003. He is currently recording in Toronto, Canada with multi-platinum producer Mark Berry. New album this fall on Attack Records!
