“Sentimental Mood” is a collection of Kate Reid’s favorite jazz standards and tunes. She explores the art of phrasing and improvisation while winding her way through the beautiful accompaniment of her trio. Her husband, trumpet player Steve Reid, is also featured on two tracks.
