Album Notes

Our story begins:
Once upon a time, we were archaeologists,
scraping away at the soil in our little
staked-off squares - at our little cordoned-
off digs - searching for bits of song, or shards of poetry to
shine up and present to our peers as ‘beautiful’ and
‘interesting’ and ‘magical’

We are Reily. We have independently released two albums -
the first of which is now officially sold out after peaking
at #3 in some college radio charts in September, toured
across Canada, the northern U.S. and southern Ontario and built
up a local, national and international fan base that saw us
headline nearly sold-out concerts at the famous Lee’s Palace
as well as the Horseshoe Tavern (Toronto) on several occasions.

We are Reily. We are now writting and recording at our home
studio for our next release, which is expected to be
released on a Canadian indie label in May of 2007. It will be
followed by a North American tour.

We merge folk influences with an indie rock edge. We create
a sound that is familiar but unconventional, beautiful but
unapologetic. We create a sound that Saint Rock and Roll
Magazine (Vancouver)calls:
“a new kind of sound [which is] really quite delicious.”
