Reino is the original spelling of the band name, which was later changed to RAYNO.
With brothers Josh Timonen and Aaron Timonen and bassist Robbie Dressler relocated from Portland, Oregon and drummer Cam Newlin relocated from Reno, Nevada, RAYNO is making their mark on the Los Angeles music scene. The Timonen brothers bring experience from their former bands in Portland while Newlin relies on years spent entertaining audiences worldwide in the hit production STOMP.
Hydrogen Blossom EP is the first release by the group, featuring the songs, 'Bonfire in the Sky' and 'The Alamo'. Visit RAYNO's website at www.rayno.net for mp3's of these songs as well as photos, videos, and more.
'Bonfire in the sky' is featured over the end credits on the horror film 'Hallowed Ground', as seen on the Sci-Fi Channel.
Recently showcased on 95.5 FM KLOS "Local Licks" program, RAYNO is getting out on the scene. Check the website for the complete summer tour schedule.
