Album Notes

Relenter, a 3 piece band from Champaign/Urbana Illinois, is a collaboration of rock and synth influenced musicians. Merging rock guitar and melodic piano with an electronic synth-rock backbone, Relenter has created a variety of soulful, energetic, and moody alternative songs.
Such is evident on their debut (full length) release, Through the Mirror. Through the Mirror offers a brooding image of loss and love intertwined. Relenter draws inspiration from a broad range of past and present influences, such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, Garbage and Poe.

Relenter is Chris Parker on vocals/guitar/keyboards/piano/bass, Robert Martz on piano/keyboards/backing vocals, and Kenny Flores on drums.

BEST ALBUM IVE BOUGHT ALL YEAR
author: DJ Whidden

I would say by far this is the best rock album of the year-it has everything, strings, piano, a bit of 80s, a bit of 90s and a bit of goth. i even listen to it going to bed and waking up. Great for fans of stabbing westward, depeche mode, Vast, the Smashing Pumpkins, and the Cure
