Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, Florida truly understands the meaning of the word Missionary, which is one sent on a mission to do religious or charitable work in a territory or foreign country.

The church family is very instrumental in assisting families in the community and surrounding communities who are infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. To broaden our efforts and support, we have partnered with Minority and Development Empowerment Incorporation to construct a hospital in Mercer, Haiti. The land has already been purchased and the cost of the hospital is $300,000.

Because we know that charity begins at home and then spreads abroad, we are now operating a Childcare Center, providing affordable care at reduced rates to low income working families with infants and preschoolers, without government assistance. The operations of the Center are subsidized approximately $40,000 annually by the Ministry. Presently, we are renting a building in the community, but hope to minimize the expense by relocating the Center to the Church premises.

To generate funds for the above projects, the Remnant of Praise choir has recorded an anointed album entitled So Satisfied. We are confident that the spirit-filled selections on this CD will be a blessing to every listener.

Proceeds will be used to complete these worthwhile endeavors.

**Update! Our new preschool center, Hopewell Preschool Academy, is nearly complete in it's construction and is scheduled to open by August. Thanks to all those who have supported our growing ministry.
