Album Notes
Born and Raised in California . He had a bunch of fond memories Growing up. Remy's favorite past time as a child was Sitting in his room with the windows wide open. While the rain came down listening to his parents music . His fathers collection of music was compiled of Fifties oldies, Jazz and Country. His mother always had disco and Tejano Music going thru the house every morning attempting to make him or his brother dance with her. We could go on and on about the roots of Remy's influences , but that would take a life time to get to the point,so here it goes. Remy's Voodoo rests in no particular Genre . What Genre would you have put Lionel Ritchie or Billy Joel in back in their day? Or the diversity to "Genre " contributed by Mr. Herbie Hancock with his 1986 Debut through the world of MTV shaped our our eyes and ears for many genres to come. There wasn't anywhere as much Genre selection back then as their is now. The concept for each album is a celebration of life. When it comes to music. Each of Remy Voodoo's songs can be catagorized under it's own Genre. I think you are the perfect person to decide what you would like. Enjoy!
