Album Notes

If you love classic & progressive rock from the 80's and early 90's - you'll love this CD!

The production is top quality and the songs are amazing!

Rendall Wagner is an Australian singer/songwriter with a mixed background - half Anglo, half Indian (the curry & rice type - not the American type). The songs on this debut CD are his reflection on life, love and the human spirit - and occasionally just some good old rock! Wagner's guitar style sits somewhere in between Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton, while his voice resembles a sweeter mix of Bryan Adams and Peter Gabriel.

His ethnic mix combined with the emotion of a post war upbringing has combined for an interesting creative energy. A self-confessed Pink Floyd nut, they have certainly had a serious influence on this artist in tracks like Land of Sunshine and The Fever.

Everyone thought this guy would be picked up by a major with his very commercial debut at the age of 25. Luckily he's stayed independent and retains control over his product - you'll hear why with his second release "The Art of Illusion" which is incredible.

Check out this recent e-mail from an Australian radio station manager James Mason:
...I think what you are doing (or have done so far) is sensational your music has a genuine quality, a rarity with
a lot of the hype about today, and I feel that you will be around for a long time giving your audiences that lift that I personally felt the first time I heard your heartfelt lyrics, vocal & musical depth...refreshingly different ...I think what I'm trying to say is that your music comes from your heart without fear or an expected judgmentality...it is from love which is always the best ....take care and again all the best ...James Mason .@ 3MGB in Mallacoota.
