Album Notes

In contrast to his debut album, Wagner has reinvented himself with a heavier, rawer sound, going with Eastern instruments and sounds blended with his classic-rock song style.

From it's haunting opening flute track - Io (named after a moon of Jupiter) it compels the listener to take note of something deeper. Then you get slammed by Sugar Sweet, hard rockin' with a combination of Turkish(?) baglama and BIG guitars and drums - it's a sign of the fusion to come - EAST meets WEST in the big sound that is this amazing album from this little Aussie/Indian guy nobody has really heard of!!

Suprising tracks like "Men of Hope" is an epic 9min rock piece would sit nicely at home in a stadium with Pink Floyd. There's also a very Muse-like song called "Wait Another Day".

The title track is certainly the most impressive. Wagner has proved himself to be a serious modern composer this time around with various instrumentation and time changes - this is cerebral rock at it's sublime.

With a special version of the classic Masters Apprentices, 1971 hit song "Because I Love You" to really show off what he's capable of - it's a must for the CD collection.

The production is excellent - put the headphones on and enjoy!
