Surf’s up and the Beach is open!!
We’ve all felt it. We’ve all had that urge to escape the same-old, same-old and run-away to a tropical island paradise. The Renegades unique sound takes us to the islands with them.
So slip-on on your flip-flops, rub in some sunscreen, and put on your sunglasses…Surf’s up and the Beach is open.
The Runnin’ Wild Renegades first CD has been created from the original, lost Renegades tapes. In June 2006 the lost tapes were found and with them a little bit of musical history. The tapes have been re-mastered, over-dubbed, and released by Tower 17 Productions.
Bios
The original Runnin' Wild Renegades were founded in 1993 by college buddies Jack Kincaid and Murph. The Runnin' Wild Renegades disbanded in 1994 in the midst of their first real recording session, after only rough recordings of their songs.
After the break-up, Jack moved on to the corporate sales-world and Murph hasn't been heard from in many years, and is believed to be living and surfing in Baja, Mexico. Sean Kelly, a nephew of original Renegade Murph, rediscovered the lost Renegade tapes at his aunt’s garage sale. After a year of remixing, over-dubbing, and re-mastering, the Drinks & Dreams CD was released June 1, 2007. With tracks performed by the original Renegades and the current Renegades, the album is an excellent combination of the old and the new.
Original Renegade Jack Kincaid plays guitar and sings lead vocals.
Original Renegade Murph plays drums and sings back-up.
Modern-day Renegade Sean Kelly plays guitar, ukulele, harmonica, & banjo.
Modern-day Renegade Andy Thompson plays guitar and sings vocals.
Modern-day Renegade Matt plays steel drums, drums, and sings back-up vocals.

Drinks and Dreams
author: julie lincis
Even though I'm not a big country fan I really enjoyed this C.D. I loved the steele drums on Drinks and Dreams and I thought the lyrics were great on all of the tunes.
