This is an American Impact special feature of the great southern rock band "The Cottonpickers" putting out a gritty dixie delivery of Elvis Presley's heartbreak hotel.A bonus track "Sinners Prayer" is included on this single which is the final recorded track of the act which was performed while the bands producer set fire to their recording studio.

The world unfortunately missed "The Cottonpickers"on their inital release to top 40 radio thinking it was a parody of Elvis when it is actually a tribute to him, and it was not understood that this performance was a benefit for St.Judes Children's Hospital. American Impact has preserved this sacred piece of
the true native american art form known as southern rock.It still lives on in a milder version in the form of country music but the days of those wild,uncompromising,packlike groups scorching up the juke joints living it as they played it, has been replaced presently by karoke and sports bars and little oh so gay boy bands. Gag me with a shovel!

The proceeds of sales of this record go to the St.Judes Childrens Hospital in Memphis,Tennessee.
