Everybody Loves the Blues, but I Keep Dreaming about how the Renovator's Boogie, said Al (The Big One).
And now I Don't Ski anymore because when I took a Special Ride, I fell down and needed a Bandaido on my Excavator.
Well, You Snooze You Lose, so Who's To Blame? said Ted.
And I'll tell you Something Else, said one of the Bobs. I Never Really Saw Your Face until what's-'er-name came over and Blue Reggae. Boy, did she Rip Up The House or what!
It's Been Done... muttered the other Bob.

Good songs. Scattered disc.

While I enjoyed all of the songs on this disc, they are all over the board. If I didn't know better I'd say it was a compilation of various artists or one band recorded over several years with personnel changes. "Everybody Loves the Blues" sounds like Edgar Winter. "It's Been Done" sounds like Commander Cody. "Never Really Saw Your Face" reminds me of Head East's "Stealin' (when I should have been buying)". "Excavator" has the Peter Frampton "Do You Feel Like I Do" altered "vocal/guitar" sound. "I Don't Ski" is kind of a kitsch doo wop joke. These are all enjoyable songs, but the disc as a whole is kind of scattered.

Excellent musicians who don't take it all so seriously, the Renovators have outdone themselves on this, their most recent CD. The first cut on the CD, Rip Up The House, instantly will put a smile on your face with it's raucous vocals and raunchy blues feel. Which makes you realize that the title of the second track, Everybody Loves The Blues, is so true. But my personal favorite is It's Been Done - the lyrics to this song should be familiar to anyone who has ever had a seemingly great idea only to see it mass marketed by someone else 2 weeks later!

Good merchandise and fantastic service!

Ordered the Cd specifically for the song Bandaido which in turn is specifically appropriate for the line dance of the same name. Surprising how well they fit together. Am enjoying the other songs too.
