Album Notes

The Repeats "E" 5 Inch:

The second of six (limited edition) autographed colored CDs packaged in flying discs. What's a 5 Inch? We're glad you ask! Basically it's a 7 inch released on CD. For all you kids out there to young to remember. There was a time before iPods and iTunes when you couldn't wait to stick a needle in the groove of that 45 rpm virgin vinyl from "insert your very most favorite band here" just to hear the B side that wasn't being played on the radio. So we thought hey, lets put some fun back into being a fan! We've decided to release six of these so called 5 inches. Each one a different color, autographed and packaged in flying discs. Oh yeah we almost forgot the coolest part, the interior photo of each booklet will combine to create a full-sized poster.

The Repeats “E” 5 Inch Song Insights:

4. BRUISE FROM YOU 3:12
That sensitive black and blue feeling from being left between a Jack on the rocks and a hard place.

5. THE ONLY ONE 2:24
Ever want to take life and just press rewind?

The Repeats Story:

Some of the more refreshing entertainment to come out of Minneapolis since The Mary Tyler
Moore Show. With sharp musical contrast, bright harmonies and a tint of glam. Their songs
are like listening to two minute power pop episodes of Seinfeld without those funky bass
interludes.

Meet The Repeats:

Brian Eggen plays bass and sings backup vocals
Paul Kraft plays drums and sings backup vocals
Al Paul sings and plays guitar

Lyrics:

Bruise From You:

Well I suspect you overslept again under him
Well I left that light on in the bathroom in case you stumbled in

I guess you swept our sweet summer salty sweat under the rug
After I shot off my mouth and then what was left of our drugs

Now that egg fell flat on my face
Because I never thought I’d be replaced
I’m left somewhere right between a Jack on the rocks and a hard place

With a table that’s still set for two
My coffee is cold but what I really could use
Is just another bruise from you

My eyes are bloodshot red black and blue
With a hangover the size of my bed thanks to you
But I guess I just like the abuse

Because there’s only one thing I could use
Now that’s another bruise from you

Now that egg fell flat on my face
Because I never thought I’d be replaced
I’m left somewhere right between a Jack on the rocks and a hard place

With a table that’s still set for two
My coffee is cold but what I really could use
Is just another bruise from you

My eyes are bloodshot red black and blue
With a hangover the size of my bed thanks to you
But I guess I just like the abuse

Because there’s only one thing I could use
Now that’s another bruise from

The Only One:

I’d like to go back in time take life and just press rewind then cue it up to

I’d like to go back in time watch my wrist hands unwind back too

Back to you

Back to a time when you and I were fine
Never a worry on our minds
Back to a time when you and I were fine
And I was the only one on your mind

I’d like to go back in time take life and just press rewind then cue it up to

I’d like to go back in time watch my wrist hands unwind back too

Back to you

Back to a time when you and I were fine
Never a worry on our minds
Back to a time when you and I were fine
And I was the only one on your mind

Back to a time when you and I were just fine
And I was the only one on your mind
