Album Notes

The Repeats "EA" 5 Inch:

The fourth of six (limited edition) autographed colored CDs packaged in flying discs. What's a 5 Inch? We're glad you ask! Basically it's a 7 inch released on CD. For all you kids out there to young to remember. There was a time before iPods and iTunes when you couldn't wait to stick a needle in the groove of that 45 rpm virgin vinyl from "insert your very most favorite band here" just to hear the B side that wasn't being played on the radio. So we thought hey, lets put some fun back into being a fan! We've decided to release six of these so called 5 inches. Each one a different color, autographed and packaged in flying discs. Oh yeah we almost forgot the coolest part, the interior photo of each booklet will combine to create a full-sized poster.

The Repeats "EA" 5 Inch Song Insights:

9. CALLER ID 2:39
Ever get that feeling someone is screening your phone calls?

10. ALL PISSED UP 1:39
We have all been there, need we say more?

The Repeats Story:

Some of the more refreshing entertainment to come out of Minneapolis since The Mary Tyler
Moore Show. With sharp musical contrast, bright harmonies and a tint of glam. Their songs
are like listening to two minute power pop episodes of Seinfeld without those funky bass
interludes.

Meet The Repeats:

Brian Eggen plays bass and sings backup vocals
Paul Kraft plays drums and sings backup vocals
Al Paul sings and plays guitar

Lyrics:

Caller ID:

I’m listening to the first, fourth and fifth rings
Before I hear your voice on that answering machine
Now I can tell by the tone over my cell phone

That you’re still angry at me
I can bet your standing staring straight into that caller ID

Now I’ve apologized at least six or seven times
Into that tapeless machine I’m sure that you’ll rewind
To be flattered by the tone over that God damn Dictaphone

That I’m still sorry

That you’re still angry at me
I can bet your standing staring straight into that caller ID

But you’re still angry at me
I can bet you’re rolling over in your underwear as I speak

But you’re still angry at me
I can bet your standing staring straight into that caller ID

All Pissed Up:

I’m all pissed up
With no place to go
Again but down
To the liquor store
Cause I can’t lick her no more
Since she set me on that shelf

I’m under the table again
Cause getting over her heart has been
Staying all pissed up
With no place to go

I’m under the table again
Cause getting over her heart has been
Staying all pissed up
With no place to go
