The most exciting electronic-goth act since... ever! Complex and thick electronics ready for pure swoon or the dancefloor with favourable simularities to 80's electro and modern day futurepop and overlayed with Jordan's orchestral vocals providing a very intimate and personal content. Resurrection Eve's latest offerings are best describe as smooth and tight.
About Resurrection Eve's album Rapture
When every song is worthy of being a single, what do you call the album... don't know about you, but Resurrection Eve have titled their new masterpiece Rapture.
Resurrection Eve is a finely tuned collaboration incorporating hybrid dance electronics with an elegant quality, strong dance rhythms and excentuated with gothic-orchestral flourish.
Their brilliant debut album from 1999, Ancient Curse [released by Nightbreed in the UK] received rave reviews and the upcoming new album Rapture will set the scene for what will soon become Australia's premier electro-goth act.
Resurrection Eve's live show is a well paced and carefully executed presentation of light and sound with a dynamic performance from Jordan's emotive vocals, Mark's deep keyboard programming skills, and Mav's extravagant guitar presence.
Prepare for all the goth and futurepop media to become a-flourished as the emotions of Resurrection Eve shivers down the spine and into your heart. The sound and production of Rapture will captivate you for years, as sure as Resurrection Eve will be the next big thing, Rapture will not be forgotten quickly.
The double CD compilation formed from the popular German nightclub of the same name "Dark Awakenings 2" was very successful and Resurrection Eve's previously unreleased demo version of Zen was voted in their top 10 for the month of May 2002 amongst some of the biggest names in alternative/goth/industrial music today!

Excellent album
author: Jerusha Whitney
I have way overplayed this CD...every song is good, both lyrically and musically. Several cross the line into excellence. Notably: Run, Velocity 001, and Tunnel. All the songs work together to form a subtle story arc that carries through the entire CD...although they all stand alone, each song builds on the last. The story then continues on the next album. Excellent work.

Great Synth/Goth
author: Bradley Whitney
One of my favorite CD's. Nicely varied vocals and synth music. Some guitar but mostly in the background. Not a bad song on the CD. I keep listening to it and it is several years old. Great synth/goth music. Lyrics are not too dark, but about the human struggle. Terrified is my favorite of all the songs. The last song is nicely re-done as the first song on their next CD: Ascension. The main part of the lyric: I will guide you, through this life.
