Album Notes

Once upon a time, the loyal fans of Resonant Soul knew the band by a different name: Banana Fudge. Banana Fudge was formed in 1997 by a group of underachieving delinquents at Lake High School, a small suburban school near Toledo, OH. After a few lineup changes and a new sound, the band finally decided to change their name to Resonant Soul in 2003, which is a reference to how they view the song writing process. Since this milestone in the band’s career, they have recorded three independent albums, “Machine” “Stillwater” and "The Death of Amara Lee," which have, so far, sold a combined total of 3,500 copies, and have experienced regular airplay on radio stations such as 104.7 WIOT, 106.5 The Zone, and 88.3 WXUT. Resonant Soul has also since been heard on XM Radio. They have since been touring the Midwest, having visited Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Muskegon, Ann Arbor, Dundee, Findlay, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Bowling Green and have shared the stage with The Misfits, Whitesnake, Embassy, Jefferson Starship, Sponge, Seven Mary Three, Shinedown, Trapt, Sean Yseult of White Zombie, Five Horse Johnson, Gatsby’s American Dream, Speakerfire, and Ron Jeremy. Resonant Soul is a very dedicated band that aspires to continually expand their fan base around the country, and eventually around the globe.

Absolutely stellar album. Well thought out and oozing with emotion. I cant wait till the new album is out, I was fortunate enough to catch them debut a few of the new songs at a show in september, stillwater is probably the best album from any indie band in the last year, the next one sounds like it will be stillwater times ten!

Smooth and Mellow.......

Crisp, clean and refreshing! Not much more needs to be said. A great blending of acoustics and instruments that will have you listening over and over. To anyone that enjoys the music played on Smallville, their sound will remind you of alot of music that is used on that show.
