Album Notes

Resonate began its life at a special church event in 2009. Since that time the group has come together for various special occasions. The band's sound mixes contemporary rhythms and beats with the lyrical elements of acoustic guitars. This combination creates a lush platform for listening and thinking about the messages these melodies carry. The band consists of Bob Bartz, a guitarist and song-writer who arrived in South Africa in 2007. The second guitarist is Hilary Hammond, a music instructor and guitarist from Hartbeespoort. Raurii Bray provides the percussion and rhythms for the band while Graham Salzwedal lays the foundation with his mellow approach to the bass guitar. Both Raurii and Graham reside in Pretoria.
