ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The album has been a long time in the making. It was started almost 4 years ago at the lowest point in my life. "Restruct". The name to me means and symbolizes the reinvention of myself and my life. "Built back up from self destruction", That's exactly what I did. The songs to come over the next four years (Measuring in the hundreds) were the pool from which we hand picked our debut album Built back up from self destruction.

Wow all the tracks are great!
It is very rare that you see an album that has such a great mix of sound from rock, acoustic to metal. Every track is amazing and I love the song "Dream".

The perfect specimen of alternative rock, Restruct is home based in Vancouver, WA. It consists of Freeman Belmont, on vocals and rhythm guitar, Colin Ault on lead guitar, Jason Williams on bass, and Noah Ortega on drums. The band is currently being sponsored by Rockstar Energy Drink. The name of their CD is Built Back Up From Self-Destruction, a creation of cleaver word play on the name of the band.
The members of Restruct have been steadily making a name for themselves catching the ear and attention of fans while touring and by achieving airplay. It’s not hard to see them in the ranks of alternative giants such as Default, Puddle of Mudd, and Nickleback with songs like The Brim and Change.
The Brim is an acoustic based song with melodic violin accents. It’s about being through so much hardship that it fills you with pain and carries a message to use the pain and the experience of those hardships to find self realization.
Change has powerful rhythms accompanied by quick drum change-ups and heart thumping bass lines. The leads have a touch of eighties influence with a pinch harmonic solo typical of that era. The lyrics tell a tale of how life is ever changing and that the direction it goes in is in the hands of the individual. It also brings a warning to not judge someone else’s path if you don’t have a grip on your own.
Restruct supports the United We Rock Across America Tour because two of the members are actually former members of the Military. Their manager is currently in negotiations to get the band on the tour in support of our troops.
Restruct is creating a buzz that will earn these musicians notoriety and make them more visible in the public eye.
