Emerging from the Washington D.C suburb of Alexandria, Virginia in 2007, RETROGRAMME is poised to break into the aggressive electronic pop scene in 2008 with their debut album, RETROGRAMME. Created using layers crunching electronics, beautiful atmospherics and the occasional vocal, they have managed to create an album that is destined to be a powerhouse in their genre. With standout tracks like "BLOOD AS A NOTION" and “911 FOR LOCALS”, it won’t be long until RETROGRAMME is a familiar name to fans of electronic music.

The production duo consists of Nikk Allen as the primary songwriter, crafting songs with solid pop arrangements , and Rob Early as the principal synthesist, programmer, and producer, giving RETROGRAMME their unique sound.

The album was recorded in Alexandria, Virginia at RETROGRAMME Studio, owned by the duo. The outcome is an outstanding album that spans many genres of electronic music – somewhere between industrial, electronica, and aggressive pop. The album speeds along, but also does not ignore down-tempo grooves.
