The production is excellent, and the mix brings the listener front and center to the best party in town...but enough about that. What is amazing is the life, joy and musicial possiblites that Retrospect creates, and shares with the listener. These songs find the beautiful middle ground where the artist's vision and the musical result meet, make love and give birth to such sonic treats that repeated listens are not only warranted, they are needed... They joy of the blues seems an oxymoron, but after just one listen, you will be dancing around the room digging the Peoples Blues...These are songs everyone can relate to, which brings in a human element, that is missing from much of today's new music. This is also a touring band, which means theses song live and breath every weekend...they are not just some overproduced once in a lifetime waste of time...they are the real deal...and everyone in the Chicagoland area should seek out this band, buy the cd and catch them in action...You will not be dissapointed...Stay in the light indeed!!!

This is the BOMB. I have never heard an original CD as good as this one.Every single track was created from Scratch right here in the mold of Chicago and perfected from the performances throughout the Chicagoland area. The Songs are Inspirational, The music a True blues Classic, The rythm out of this World. Like the French say...C'est une Follie...c' est magnifique...Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler.
