Mechanical Love spans multiple genres. The music is a study of timings and rhythms with an easy listenability that takes the listener on a musical journey, telling a story without words. This music speaks to all cultures and ages. The compositions are melodic and have a cinematic quality that evokes imagery and emotion. This is the second album from this rising composer, Jose Pimentel.

Nishmah Audio Digital Productions
A Chicago based company founded by composer and producer Jose Pimentel, Nishmah Audio Digital Productions is a multi-faceted organization for commercial sound design. Using state-of-the-art equipment to bring the best of analog and digital together, the result is a very unique hybrid sound like nothing else in the industry or on the market today. Nishmah’s engineers are among the best and brightest in the industry and have combined over 50 years of industry experience. As the lead composer at Nishmah, Jose composes for various media, including film, television, radio, internet, and gaming.

Born in Panama City, Panama, Jose played with a few different bands throughout high school and for a few years afterwards, including the University of Panama Jazz Quartet. When Jose moved to the United States in 1985, he focused his musical interests on the bass and drums and began to play in different churches and bands in the New Orleans, LA area. During the 1990’s and early 2000’s, Jose played with various bands throughout New Orleans in French Quarter clubs and New Orleans festivals.

In 2006, Jose moved to Chicago and founded Nishmah Audio Digital Productions. Jose’s music has been placed with two prominent music agencies, Studio 51 in Australia and Score Keepers in the US. These agencies place music for companies such as Vodafone and Apple, and entities such as ABC, NBC, and the Discovery Channel respectively.

Current projects include composing soundtracks for various independent films in Chicago and Los Angeles and developing the music and sound for televisions commercials in Chicago.

Nishmah has affiliations in Chicago, New Orleans, and Los Angeles with an office and studio in Chicago.
