Album Notes
The record is produced and recorded by Retz where he plays several of the instruments himself. Drummer Håkan Hansson from Drumrec studio Stockholm, has created the drum sounds on all tracks, he has also done the final mastering of the record.
Per Boysen plays the saxophone and some of the guitar-licks on the track “Days like this”.
Retz’s daughter Sara, who is a proficient soul- and blues singer, is the backup singer on a couple of the songs.

Retz / Reine Krantz
Retz was born in 1956 in the outer suburbs of Gothenburg, Sweden. During his entire childhood he was surrounded by music and as a kid he wasn’t shy to walk around and loudly sing songs like “Rock around the clock” by Bill Haley and his comets. During the early 60’s Beatles and the Rolling Stones quickly became the favourites. These early influence are his musical roots and is still up to this day his main source of inspiration when creating new songs. Other musicians that have inspired him are singers such as, BB-King, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Van Morrison, Stevie Ray and many more.
