Sea Whisperings is Reuben's first CD. It is still his favorite, combining nine of his own compositions with favorite Celtic tunes (Greensleeves & Be Thou My Vision and a few very popular classical pieces, (Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring,Canon in D ....)which incidentally are very popular wedding selections.
Reuben climbed down a steep cliff trail in beautiful sunny Southern California to get this picture with the ocean and rocks in the background. I don't think he'll be doing anything like this in the future.

author: Jo Anne Van Datta Chapito
Enchanting, Comforting, versatile music, masterfully played on a handcrafted Gothic folk harp. Classical, Traditional and contemporary arrangements with a variety of european flavors are integrated into a sensuous and ethereal celebration of earth, human devotion and sound. The harp has a sweet crystalline quality-the sound pulses and sparkles bringing images of cascading light, love, water and mist. Delicate and medicinal, peaceful and delicious, the cd's mood is one of exhilarating myster, Joy and reverence, Includes notes about each son. Highly recommended.Fall'91/Winter'92, No.11
