Known as the "Embassador of Soul Gospel.Rev.Anderson Sparks & The
St.Louis Silvertones," I Got Something Money Can't Buy,". In the music blasting from radio, at churches across the country during the daring 90's the concept of Tradional Gospel was becoming alien and antiquated.
Next to contemporary gospel singers, Kirk Franklin-like rap gospels, huge mass choirs and the burgeoning pop gospel music scene, a quartet sing group could only mean nostalgia for the quartet singing era or the traditional gospel sounds of Sam Cooke & The Soul-Stirrers. Enter singer/songwriter/minister Anderson Sparks, the Embassador of Soul Gospel. With his soulful approach to lyrics, his high tenor voice and his unigue ear for deep musical arrangements, Sparks brought a different meaning to the Gospel world.
