Why didn't Mary & Joseph go to Elizabeth's house for the birthof Jesus? She lived nearby!
Why was the town of Bethlehem so hard hearted that no private home would take them in if there was "no room at the inn?"
If the Holy family was in a dirty stable, why didn't the shepherds move them at once to their own homes?
The WiseMen came to "the house." What's going on?
In these four half-hour lectures Dr. Bailey answers these and many other questions regarding the Christmas story. These studies provide fresh understandings of the well known Biblical stories of Christmas in a way that everyone can follow

Gripping, in its own way
author: Phil Cogbill
Very very intersting perspective of the birth of Christ. If you think you know Jesus' birth story then you will really be blown away by this video. There are a great number of things that modern interpretations have skewed and even ruined the story. Dr. Bailey nails it on the head. Granted it's not the most exciting video, but the content makes up for the missing wow factor.

Clear View on the Birth of Jesus
author: Carole
I was amazed at the insight Rev. Bailey has. I always wondered how the Wise Men found Jesus in a house when he was born in a stable.
I showed the first episode at my Small Group, thinking I would just do the one but everyone was so captivated by his knowledge that they asked to do more! I have recommended this to other small goups in church. Everyone should get this video; it answers so many questions.

A true enlightened work!
author: Bill Schmidt
This is by far one of the most enlighten works on the subject that I have ever encountered. Thanks to Dr. Bailey, one's preconcieved (or taught) notions of the birth of Jesus is put into proper perspective. Absolutely facinating!

Dr. Bailey's work helps put the narrative into context
author: Randy Schafer
Dr. Bailey's work helps us to remove the preconceived ideas that tend to obscure the biblical narratives. Many of us tend to approach the Bible from a Western philosophical perspective and try to fit the narratives into modern day molds. This work explains the biblical narrative in a Middle Eastern cultural context where the account was originally written.
