Revelaria's Past2Years is a glimpse into the musical progression of New London, Connecticut-based modern rock act Revelaria. The tracks on this record were recorded over the last two years at Drift Sound Studios, Revelaria's home recording studio.

Revelaria has been a dominant force on the New London modern rock scene, playing countless gigs at home and abroad, including cities such as Hartford, New York City, and Providence. As one of the most recognized New London-based bands, Revelaria has been a hard working outfit, self-producing each of their records.

Past2Years contains remixed and remastered tracks from Revelaria's "Music Never Dies E.P.", their 2001 debut of new vocalist Josh Pomerenke. Rick Koster of the New London Day writes, "With guitar lines spun like cotton candy and Pomerenke's strongly earnest melodies, 'Music Never Dies' will impress fans of the Vertical Horizon/Gin Blossoms school ... with hooks strong enough to reel in the largest of industry mossbunkers." Tom Nanos of The Stage Music Newspaper says, "I'd call all four songs on the EP highlights, as they show the range of playing and song-writing ability [Revelaria] has."

This record also includes a glimpse into the latest of Revelaria's songwriting efforts with five new songs featuring guitar from Chris Boss, Revelaria's recent additional member. Included in these five songs is Revelaria's new radio single, "Last Man Standing", which has gotten rave reviews at home and is currently making its way abroad.
