Album Notes

Revel at Midnight began as the brainchild of front man Dan Pitt during the late summer of 2005. After taking years off from the music scene, this singer/guitarist began to write songs again... and a lot of them. By the winter of 2006, Dan began to play several open mics and his new songs received a good deal of attention.

Enter drum master Todd Broomhead. Todd and Dan joined forces early that spring and began performing almost immediately. Met with great reception, they soon added super bass player Rob Snyder, and Revel at Midnight was formed.

The band's name describes their unique sound: fun but dark. The band aims to keep its audience dancing as well as thinking. Haunting lyrics combined with a strong rhythm, melody, and beats, Revel at Midnight's eclectic songs get stuck in its listeners' heads.

When asked about the future, the band has been quoted as saying, "We have made it our philosophy to just put ourselves out there and see what happens." For now, the band has been enjoying success recording and performing in the Hudson Valley of New York.
