Album Notes

Sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward. Just ask the members of REVERSE ORDER. Going on two decades together as a band, they have also established outside careers and families. So why decide to turn life upside down and embark on a balls-to-the-wall rock'n'roll career now? Maybe the time is right, maybe the music is right, or maybe they're just nuts. Whatever the reason, this Milwaukee-based band is ready to turn the music world upside down, and as their scorching new CD suggests, they might just pull it off. Long-time fans of the band know REVERSE ORDER has always been destined for success, having followed them through several incarnations, first as a cover band at school dances, then later as one of the upper Midwest's hottest bar bands.

Starting out doing covers of popular arena rock artists, Milwaukee's thriving music scene soon placed TRYST, as they were known then, at the forefront of popular local groups. TRYST toured all over Wisconsin, Illinois, and other parts of the region, played multiple live shows on the local FM rock station, and also performed at Milwaukee's annual Summerfest along the lakefront grounds. The band began including self-penned songs in their shows, making the transition from covers to originals and renamed themselves THE PHOENIX, concentrating more on recording and building state-of-the-art home studios. The music began changing as well and with the band's knack for composing memorable hookladen melodies and lyrics, the new REVERSE ORDER style evolved.

REVERSE ORDER recently wrapped up their latest CD, which speaks eloquently of their enormous talent and drive, and brings rock'n'roll back to the kick-ass spirit it once embodied. For these bad boys, the past is prologue, and REVERSE ORDER is headed in one direction......Forward.
