Album Notes
In a world filled with computerized, sampled, looped, and digitally-corrected music, REVILUTION again refuses to compromise and do it the "easy" way. With their sophomore effort, "Clues: $1," no quarter was asked, none given; all instrumental tracks were recorded using real guitars, bass, drums, and keyboards, all vocals using human voices, and loops and pitch correction were punishable by death. All songs were mixed to analog tape, for which blank tape and a reel-to-reel recorder were purchased on eBay. These efforts to preserve the integrity of the music (and the conscience of the musicians) give the songs a fluidity and vibe that keep the interest of the listener. No shortcuts were taken, no ProTools used; it doesn't get any more real than this in a studio recording.
